Cinnamon granola

Last week I made my own granola for the first time. I love putting granola on my smoothie or porridge bowls! It's gives it a bit of crunch and texture. It's also great just having it as it is with any plant based milk or yoghurt.

Förra veckan testade jag att göra min egen granola för första gången. Jag älskar att ha granola på mina smoothie- eller grötskålar! Det ger det lite crunch och textur. Det är även himla gott att äta bara som den är med plant baserad mjölk eller yoghurt.

It wasn't hard at all to make actaully! Just mix the oats, hazelnuts, almonds and pumpkingseeds with some heated water and agave syrup before you roast it all on a baking tray in the oven.

Det var faktiskt inte alls svårt att göra! Mixa bara havregrynen, hasselnötterna, mandlarna och pumpakärnorna med lite uppvärmt vatten och agave syrup innan du rostar det på en bakplåt i ugnen.

Cinnamon granola

1. Put the oven on 160°C.

2. Chop up the almonds roughly and mix in a bowl with the oats, hazelnuts and pumpkinseeds.

3. In a saucepan, heat up the water and agave syrup till it's warm. Pour into the bowl with the cinnamon and stir around till everything is covered. 

4. Spread out the granola on a lined baking tray. 

5. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes and when it has a golden colour. Stir around every 10 minutes to make the granola more crumbly. 

6. Take out the granola and mix in the dried berries. Let cool down on the baking tray. 

7. Store in dry room temperature in any type of box or glas you want.
