5 things I've learnt as a fashion intern

Thursday, 14 July 2016

1. When you think there couldn’t be more shoes delivered for a shoot, there will probably come in the double amount in about two hours.

2. When returning things to different stores, do always ask a retail assistant if they do returns on a specific floor or till. You don’t want to queue for 20 minutes and get the we-don’t-do-returns-in-this-till-line.

3. It’s a good idea to get along with the people working in the courier and post office. Best case scenario – they will give you a call when something has arrived, which means you don’t have to take the lift up and down to check if it has (even though you will be taking the lift up and down about 50 times in a day anyways, but still).

4. Being organised is key when handling all returns in the fashion cupboard, and since organising sort of is one of my guilty pleasures, that’s a yay for me.

5. Working with creative minds in a creative environment makes the time fly by very, very quickly every day.
